This world is constantly at battle, the so called modern conflict between the human world and the nature world. We see it everyday, yet few try to tell the story through art. Nick Pederson, showing at The Slingluff Gallery on November 7 from 6-9pm, has set out to tell this story and to show his concern for the future by depicting the ways in which mankind’s invention impact the world.

A Mural-Sized Line Painting Completed in a Single Evening

In 1974, God made a beautiful glowing ball of creativity, sprinkled it with art dust, wrapped it in skin, installed an abrasive voice box and called it Todd Marrone. 35 years or so later, Todd will create a mural-sized line painting before your very eyes at this November’s First Friday at PRIMER. Music, munchies and spirits will be on hand to attack (or dull) the remaining senses. Still not convinced? Todd will be tossing, handing, raffling, granting, distributing and otherwise giving free paintings away all night long!

If you can’t make it to the opening, the gallery is open during normal business hours (after hours by appointment), and the exhibit will be on display all month long.
