The Widener University Art Gallery and Collection will host an exhibition by ARTsisters from March 9 through April 1. The exhibition benefits arrhythmia research with 20 percent of all sales going to the cause.
A reception to meet the artists will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 1-3 p.m. at the gallery.
ARTsisters is a non-profit organization featuring women artists who use their creativity to benefit the community through exhibitions, special projects, workshops and art donations. Founded in 2005 by two female artists, ARTsisters now boasts a membership of 19 artists from the Philadelphia region.
The event is juried by the artist Valetta, director of the Regional Center for Women in the Arts in West Chester.
The Widener Art Gallery is located in the University Center on 14th Street between Walnut Street and Melrose Avenue.
