On April 21, 2011, Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Philadelphia, the only LEED certified hotel in the city, is holding a Recycled Art Exhibition as a culmination to their Earthcare Week. There will be a silent auction with proceeds going to Trust for Public Land. Event is from 5pm to 7pm for 150 prominent Philadelphians. Jane Golden of Mural Arts Program will serve as the keynote speaker for the event.
We are currently seeking recycled or eco-friendly artwork for this event. The pieces will be photographed and used in all post press publicity as well as having the artists’ name used in any press opportunities prior. It will be great exposure. The art must be in some way eco-friendly or recycled—per the Earth Day tie in. If artwork is received early next week, it will be displayed in the Hotel Palomar lobby all week.
Deadline: April 20, 2011 at 5 pm.
Please contact Jacklin Rhoads, Jacklin@cashmanandassociates.com, 215.627.1060 (o) or 215.990.8201 (m) as soon as possible. An image of the artwork will be needed.
