Art After 5, Friday September 2, 5-8pm
In Collaboration with 4th Wall Arts Salon

Join Fourth Wall Arts and the Philadelphia Open Studio Tours in celebrating the official launch of the 2011 Open Studio Tours season! Featuring performance artists, musicians, the original artwork of Simone Spicer and Darla Jackson, and a slideshow preview of all participating Studio Tour artists.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19130.

In just one year, Fourth Wall has emerged as a significant new arts movement in the city of Philadelphia. Bringing together the best of a broad range of artists and performers from the Philadelphia underground, each month Fourth Wall moves to a new venue, creating collaborations which provide vertical value for local artists, citizens, and institutions. Ten-minute infusions of music, dance, theater, poetry, and topical presenters weave a beautiful and awe-inspiring Salon experience, with an emphasis on audience engagement and cultural diversity. On the heels of Arts Salons at the National Museum of American Jewish History and the Painted Bride, join Fourth Wall for the first time at the PMA, for an evening of inspiration and insight into the dynamic Philadelphia avant-garde.
